The 72mm thick double skinned walls, double glazed windows and fully insulated roof, floor and walls mean this Insulated Garden Room with Side Shed is ideal for all year-round use.
The flat roof creates a contemporary silhouette in your garden, whilst promoting excellent rain water run-off, helping keep your building dry for many years to come. The roof is covered with high-grade mineral felt.
Mercia Insulated Garden Rooms are manufactured here in the UK, using sustainably sourced and regulated timber. With free installation included, you can sit back and relax whilst we create a whole new space for you to enjoy.
The price of this item includes full installation of the building into your garden. A firm and level base is required for this, either made of solid concrete or concrete slabs. It is recommended that the floor of this garden room is further covered by either carpet or laminate to reduce wear on the matchboards.
These Insulated Garden Rooms are NOT pre-treated or painted. Application of wood preservative is also not part of the home installation service. In order to qualify for our 10 year anti-rot guarantee the building must be annually treated with a high quality spirit based wood preservative.
Please note: customers are required to complete a pre installation questionnaire prior to install.

Delivery and Installation Timeframes
We offer same-day delivery and installation services. While we strive to complete the installation on the same day, larger buildings may require more than one day for installation. You can find the estimated delivery and installation lead time for this product on the product page above. Our lead times are calculated in working days (Monday - Friday) and do not include Bank Holidays. These estimates are sourced from the manufacturers and serve as a general guideline, subject to fluctuations in demand. We provide this information in good faith to represent the expected delivery during that period. Please note that some remote areas might experience slightly longer lead times.
Delivery and Installation Procedure
Within 5 working days our partners will reach out to you. This communication will be via either a text message or an automated telephone message. If a mobile number is not provided, the latter method will be used. This message will include the necessary website link where you can review and accept the assembly's terms and conditions. Prompt acceptance of these terms is crucial to avoid any potential delays. Once you've agreed to the terms and conditions, our partners will contact you within the specified timeframe to arrange the delivery and assembly date for your order. Please note that this process might take more time during peak seasons. Keep in mind that the installation team will require unobstructed access to your garden, a minimum of 18" clearance around the building, and a solid, level foundation. It's important to know that the installation team cannot bring the building through your home, as they lack the insurance coverage for entering a customer’s property.
Delivery Day
Typically, this item will be delivered using a 17-ton flat-bed vehicle, similar in size to a council refuse lorry. Deliveries are scheduled within the time frame of 7 am to 7 pm.

How do I ensure my site is suitable for installation?
To make sure the installation of your garden building runs smoothly, it’s vital that we have good access to your site, and that the site itself is fit for purpose. To meet our minimum requirements, we need:
- Direct access to the site - we regret that we cannot undertake an install where access is difficult or indirect
- A level site - this can be checked with a spirit level
- A minimum of 60cm (2ft) clearance surrounding the site
- A base of suitable construction that's at least as big as the footprint of the shed and which has square corners
When your garden is ready, a member of our delivery team will contact you to arrange your delivery and installation dates.
What sort of base should I build for my garden building?
To make sure your garden building gives you many years of good service, it's vital that it is built on a solid, level base. You must also ensure that your base is at least as big as the footprint of your garden building. There are a few different options for your base, such as:
- Wooden frame base
- Poured concrete base
- Paving slab base
If you're experienced with DIY you may wish to construct your own base. For those who are not keen to build their shed base themselves, we recommend employing the service of a local professional.
