The Cali 20 x 12 Garden Office offers a spacious and bright interior with a pent roof, fully glazed double doors, and windows that let natural light flow in, creating a welcoming environment.
As well as a garden office, the Cali could also be used in such settings such as a seating area, gym, or dining space. Professional installation is included so that you can enjoy a hassle-free installation process. You need to ensure you provide a firm and level base, preferably concrete.
Ventilation is crucial in any space, and the double doors of the Cali Pent provide excellent airflow. The external cladding is made of an engineered wood board with a cedar finish treated with advanced adhesive resins, water-resistant waxes, and zinc borate, protecting against fungal decay and insect damage. The material is also highly durable and resistant to wear, which will look great for years.
Inside, the walls and roof are insulated with YBS Airtec Double, providing the same level of insulation as 55mm of polystyrene. The flooring is also insulated, made of tongue and groove boards with 25mm Celotex insulation, with a stylish herringbone vinyl finish. The joinery on the windows and doors is handcrafted, adding a modern aesthetic to the summerhouse. The front window and doors are interchangeable, allowing you to personalise the space. Upgrade to UPVC or aluminium windows and doors in anthracite grey, black, or white at an extra cost. These options will reduce the door height slightly, and prices are available on request.
The Cali 20 x 12 Garden Office is low maintenance and requires minimal upkeep, with periodic repainting to keep it looking new. And if you need additional storage space, the side storage with a single door can be secured with a padlock (padlock not included), ensuring your belongings remain safe and secure.

Your Garden Office: a range of choices
Choose a mix of your favourite colours or select hues that complement each other. The Cali is supplied factory painted internally and externally in one of these available colours: Aegean, Anthracite, Champagne, Coastal Blue, Dark Brown, Green Tea, Gull Grey, Lime Green, Rustic Brown, Sage Green, Silver Birch and Vanilla Cream. You can choose a different colour for the inside and outside. Choose a mix of your favourite colours or select tones that complement each other.

The Shire Cali Garden Office is made from FSC® certified timber. As well as receiving your beautiful new garden office, you can sleep well knowing that this low-carbon footprint garden office is made from ethically sourced materials. It comes with a 10-year warranty.
Price includes assembly by Shire’s professional fitting team. You’ll need a firm and level concrete base. Our manufacturer’s assembly team will contact you requesting images of the base. Occasionally, they may visit the site to confirm the base is suitable for assembly. Once they have confirmed the base is appropriate, you will be given a delivery/assembly date (delivery and assembly are on the same day).

Garden Office Aftercare:
The home garden office has been treated using a proprietary zinc borate-based process. As this is an advanced treatment, it makes it a maintenance-free garden building. If required, you can repaint the building to keep it looking new.

Delivery and Installation Timeframes
We offer same-day delivery and installation services. While we strive to complete the installation on the same day, larger buildings may require more than one day for installation. You can find the estimated delivery and installation lead time for this product on the product page above. Our lead times are calculated in working days (Monday - Friday) and do not include Bank Holidays. These estimates are sourced from the manufacturers and serve as a general guideline, subject to fluctuations in demand. We provide this information in good faith to represent the expected delivery during that period. Please note that some remote areas might experience slightly longer lead times.
Delivery and Installation Procedure
Within 5 working days, Shire, the manufacturer, will reach out to you. This communication will be via either a text message or an automated telephone message. If a mobile number is not provided, the latter method will be used. This message will include the necessary website link where you can review and accept the assembly's terms and conditions. Prompt acceptance of these terms is crucial to avoid any potential delays. Once you've agreed to the terms and conditions, Shire will contact you within the specified timeframe to arrange the delivery and assembly date for your order. Please note that this process might take more time during peak seasons. Keep in mind that the installation team will require unobstructed access to your garden, a minimum of 18" clearance around the building, and a solid, level foundation. It's important to know that Shire's installation team cannot bring the building through your home, as they lack the insurance coverage for entering a customer’s property.
Delivery Day
The manufacturer, Shire, handles the delivery process. Typically, this item will be delivered using a 17-ton flat-bed vehicle, similar in size to a council refuse lorry. Deliveries are scheduled within the time frame of 7 am to 7 pm.
